Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Olympus RM-1 Remote Control for Olympus Stylus Digital CamerasCustomer Review: A must-have for Olympus digital SLR users Summary: 5 StarsHaving just entered the world of dSLRs, I was looking for a way to trigger the camera shutter while the camera was on a tripod. This does it so much better than the old cable releases - now I can trigger the camera while I'm in a group shot, or I can use the bulb setting for long shots while using an infrared filter or doing pinhole shots (using a modified camera body cap). There are two buttons for bulb--one opens the shutter (and keeps it open) and the other closes it. It is tiny, so it could be easily lost. However, I wouldn't hesitate as the price on Amazon was a deal.
Customer Review: Even "cute" things cando a great job Summary: 5 StarsIt was built by Olympus and for Olympus. It has worked perfectly under all conditions. Olympus has operating perameters for you to stay within (but who doesen't)such as direct sunlight, limited distance and angles, etc. As long as you read the simple instructions, you can't go wrong.
Customer Review: Does the trick Summary: 4 StarsIt does the trick,,,you do have to be in direct line of the sensor otherwise it takes a lil finnagle,,my only reason for not giving it the full 5 star treatment is,,if small-only a few inches ling and wide,,I had to buy 2 because I lost one easily,,,there is no key chain or 'connector' ability to keep track of it!
Customer Review: Good product Summary: 5 StarsBuen producto que reune las caracter?sticas que se ofrec?an. Es suficiente para el uso para el que fu? comprado. Buena relaci?n precio-valor.
Customer Review: Handy Summary: 4 StarsHandy device to make some shots easier - no chance of shaking the camera for certain shots. You can set the camera up and not touch it again til after your shot - great for time captures or slow shutter speeds. Sometimes I feel like I have to press the button a few times before it registers but it could be the battery, as I have has this item for more than 1 yr.
